Graduate Program in Informatics

The Graduate Program in Informatics (PPGINF) at PUC Minas has, currently, one Area of Concentration: Computer Science. It is structured in two research lines:

• Data Analysis, Knowledge Discovery and Information Retrieval

• Software Engineering and Computer Systems

Thirteen professors, distributed in the two research lines, constitute the faculty. They have a distinctive profile and they are PUC Minas faculty permanent members.

The Master's and Doctorate courses in Informatics were recommended by CAPES on 11/12/2004 and 04/25/2016, respectively, and they have as their main objective the training of qualified human resources, capable to contribute to the scientific and technological development of the State of Minas Gerais and Brazil.
