Master´s course
General objective
To train professionals capable of diagnosing, acting, and evaluating organizations, carrying out the investigation of administrative phenomena with careful scientific treatment, and to practice teaching in higher education of administration, with critical thinking, analytical capacity, and mastery of appropriate didactic procedures.
Specific objectives
- To train researchers for medium and long-term intellectual concerns, related to a strategic emphasis on the various dimensions of the curricular structure in Administration;
- To train current and future professors, capable of constantly innovating in their teaching, with due critical thinking and capacity for analysis, and properly oriented to concerns with the mastery of appropriate, up-to-date, and socially relevant teaching procedures;
- To collaborate for the dissemination of knowledge, within the area of competence and circumscription of the course, both in the qualification of personnel with an interest in academic insertion, and in the production and publication of scientific papers in relevant national and international journals of the area.
Doctoral Degree
General objectives
- To achieve a level of research depth that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field;
- To combine teaching content and teaching methodology in the training of researcher-professors able to reach levels of excellence in graduate courses;
- To enable the research process to reach themes of frontier and of relevant academic and social interest.
Specific objectives

The way to achieve such goals is facilitated by the following procedures:
- To implement an innovative curriculum integrated to international research trends with close links to national needs and research traditions in Brazil;
- To increase and diversify the supply of courses in research methodology, including concrete activities of insertion of students in research projects under development;
- To include, as a mandatory assignment for all students, activities aimed at improving education, either as practicum or in the production of educational materials for the teaching of Administration, such as teaching cases and simulations;
- To participate in networks of programs aiming at joint research, exchange of professors and students, study and work missions in the states of Brazil and participating countries.
