GRADUATE PROGRAM IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The aim of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering of the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais is to promote formation of qualified human resources for the academic activities, such as research and technological development in mechanical sciences, with areas of concentration in Design and Manufacturing and in Thermal and Fluid Systems. The Program aims at high-level scientific production and the promotion of human resources for the academic and productive sectors. R&D activities are developed in Automotive Engineering, Energy, Manufacturing, Automation and Robotics, Structural Analysis and Computational Mechanics. The Master's Degree and the Doctorate Program of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering from PUC Minas are recognized by CAPES, the former started in 1998 and the latter in 2006. The Program has grade 4 from CAPES.
Atividades de P&D são desenvolvidas em Engenharia Automotiva, Energia, Manufatura, Automação e Robótica, Análise Estrutural e Mecânica Computacional. O Curso de Mestrado e o Curso de Doutorado do Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia Mecânica da PUC Minas são reconhecidos pela CAPES, tendo o primeiro iniciado em 1998 e o segundo em 2006. O Programa tem conceito 4 junto ao órgão.
