The Scholarship Committee of the Postgraduate Program is responsible for choosing the candidates that will receive scholarships from the major fomenting agencies such as CAPES, CNPq and FAPEMIG.
The Program has the following number of scholarships:
CAPES (43 scholarships, 25 for the Doctorate (PhD): 11 Total Fee Scholarships and 12 Partial Fee Scholarships, 20 for the Masters (MA): 05 Total Fee Scholarships and 15 Partial Fee Scholarships);
CNPq (08 scholarships, being 02 for the Doctorate and 06 for the Masters);
FAPEMIG (06 scholarships, being 03 for the Doctorate and 03 for the Masters).
The scholarships are only granted after the defenses are confirmed by the Agencies then the applicants are selected.
Obeying the rules established by each agency, the Program grants scholarships according to the following criteria:
- number of Masters and Doctorate degrees made available annually by CAPES, CNPq and FAPEMIG agencies;
- Order of classification of the candidates in the selection process.
